Settings reference
Find explanations, examples, and suggested values for the studio's settings. To compare a change, keep the seed and other settings fixed. Results can still vary between workers.
Prompt
Model & style
Model The trained network a picture is generated with. LoRAs & embeddings Add-on files that influence a compatible model's subjects or style. Embeddings An embedding represents a learned concept through a special term in your prompt. Model suggestions The “Suggested” lines a control shows come from the selected model's own reference entry.
Size
Width & height The generated image's width and height in pixels.
Native resolution A model's usual training resolution, used as a starting point for image size. Large image sizes Generating beyond a model's usual image size.
Hires fix Generate at a smaller size, then enlarge and refine the image.
Hires denoise The amount of change allowed during the hires refinement pass.

Source image mode An attached image can provide a starting point or guidance for generation.
img2img Generate a changed version of an existing image.
Painting a mask Change a painted area while using its original content as the starting point. Inpainting Replace a masked area using the prompt and surrounding image.
Extending the canvas Extend an image by generating content around its edges. Remix Use source and reference images to guide a new Stable Cascade image.
Denoising strength The amount of noise added to the starting image in img2img. Control type The kind of image information used to guide ControlNet.
Control strength The influence of a control map on generation. Control map The image used to guide a ControlNet request.

Steps The number of sampling steps used to generate an image.
Guidance (CFG) The strength of prompt guidance during generation.
Sampler The method used to update an image during sampling.
Schedule The sequence of noise levels used during sampling.
Sampler settings Optional controls for the selected sampling method.
Flow shift An adjustment to the timesteps used by supported flow-matching models.
Seed A number used to generate the starting noise.
CLIP skip The text encoder layer used to represent your prompt.
Karras sigmas A noise schedule available with compatible samplers.
Tiling Generate edges intended to join when the image is repeated. Finishing
Upscale Enlarge a finished image using an upscaling model. Face fix Apply a face restoration model to detected faces. Face fix strength Adjust the face restoration effect. Remove background Cuts the subject out of the finished image and leaves the background transparent. Batch count How many images this one request asks for. NSFW Marks the request as possibly not safe for work, so only workers that accept those jobs pick it up. Censor NSFW Request a censored placeholder for images flagged as NSFW while Allow NSFW is off. Horde
Trusted workers Limit requests to workers associated with trusted users. Slow workers Allow slower workers to accept the request. Extra slow workers Also allows the slowest workers on the network to take the request. Allow downgrade Allow supported settings to be reduced when kudos requirements are not met. Filter suspicious prompts Lets the horde replace words its filters flag instead of rejecting the whole request. Webhook URL An http(s) address the horde POSTs each finished image to. Worker targeting Pins the request to named workers, or in avoid mode keeps those workers off it. Remembering extras Keeps the webhook URL and the worker list in this browser between visits.
